Annotation: 

The article presents the calculation results of a thick isotropic square plate with a layer of external reinforcement, which is bent under effect of distributed forces of its own weight and external distributed load applied to the upper face. The problem is solved on the basis of linear elasticity theory by the method of initial functions (IFM) for infinite layer without introducing the simplifying hypotheses about distributing the components of the stress-strain state in the volume of the plate. The author uses a universal particular solution of the Lame equilibrium equations for volume weight forces applied in the initial function method algorithm (IFM), designed for multilayer structure.
