Review article

The article presents statistics of road accidents involving pedestrians. The need to improve safety in the areas of pedestrian crossings in the dark time of the day is revealed. Some options of solving this problem are offered taking into account the advanced developments in the field of creating technical means for traffic organization and modern world experience.
