Since 2008, the Journal is included the list of Russian peer-reviewed scientific journals in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of doctor and candidate of science should be published.
By the decision of the HAC of 19.02.2010, the Journal was included in the new list of publications.
According to the letter of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation No. 13-6518 dated December 01, 2015, in accordance with the order No 793 dated July 25, 2014 “On the approval of the rules for the formation of a notification-based list of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of candidate of science and for the degree of doctor of science, and the requirements for peer-reviewed scientific publications for their inclusion in the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of candidate of science and for the degree of doctor of science (with amendments as of June 3, 2015),” the List of peer-reviewed scientific publications in which the main scientific results of dissertations for the degree of candidate of sciences, for the degree of doctor of sciences came in force since December 1, 2015.
The Bulletin of Civil Engineers Journal is included in this List under the following groups of scientific specialities:

In accordance with the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia No. 90-r dated December 28, 2018, on the basis of the recommendations of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia (hereinafter referred to as the HAC), taking into account the conclusions of the specialized expert councils of the HAC, the Bulletin of Civil Engineers Journal is considered included in the List according to the listed below scientific specialties and corresponding branches of science:
