Annotation: 

Existing engineering methods for calculating monolithic reinforced concrete walls do not provide the desired accuracy and fail to take into account significant factors due to inherent simplifications This drawback can be eliminated by applying FEM-based computer modeling in one of the «heavy» computing complexes of the Ansys type.However, today there is no comprehensive methodology for modeling and creating a finite element model for the walls under consideration, taking into account all the requirements for the design in accordance with current standards.The article presents a computer model in Ansys computing complex and a modeling technique in APDL for the nonlinear behavior of reinforced concrete walls under the combined action of vertical (P) and horizontal (V) loads.A comparison of the calculation results with experimental data obtained by foreign researchers revealed good agreement (the difference does not exceed 15.4 %).
