Annotation:
The article presents the numerical study results of the stress state of the bearing wall of high pressure shell at the key type and the smooth type connection with the abutting members. There is given a brief description of the abutting members working under load, depending on the type of structural elements` connection. Numerical calculation was performed using the ANSYS software package. There have been detected and compared some dangerous sections for connection of members without keys and for connection elements on keys. It has been established that connection on keys is more reliable.
