The article considers the unevenness of the spatial distribution of the shares of transportation by private and public route traffic in the districts of the city of Tyumen. According to the results of clustering of transport districts of Tyumen, all districts are divided into 9 classes. In areas belonging to the central sector, the share of public traffic transportation is significantly higher than in areas located on the city border. There are specified the dependences of the share of trips by cars and shuttle buses on the average travel time and transportation distance by individual and public transport for each class of transport areas. The results of the study can be used to create new transport areas in the macro-model of the city.
