Review article

This article presents an analysis of the transportation process of heavy goods by road transport in the Russian Federation. As a result of the analysis, the criteria have been identified that affect the efficiency of the transportation process, the levels of the subsystem «transport - transport infrastructure» of the transport system have been revealed. The authors propose using the developed method of optimization of the transport process, taking into account the bearing capacity and wear of road surfaces.
