Review article

The paper discusses the development of entrepreneurship in the Pskov region. A comparative analysis of the state of the region, regarding the historical background and status of the neighboring regions` development, has been carried out. Features of various industry branches of the Pskov region are discussed, their weak points are revealed. Problems of development of the region are defined, the ways of solving these problems are proposed.
