Review article

The article provides an analysis of modern approaches to the reconstruction of industrial residential development referring to the period of 1955-1965 in domestic and foreign practice. A classification of approaches is proposed, and the tasks and directions in the methodology for the comprehensive reconstruction of residential buildings of the first stage of typical industrial construction at the urban planning and object level are defined. The results of the research can be used in the development of programs for the integrated development of territories and the formation of a strategy for the reconstruction of mass residential buildings of the first stage of industrial housing construction in modern Russian cities.
