Annotation: 

The paper presents the method of calculating the required multiplicity of air exchange in the sewer network. The expected concentration values of hydrogen sulfide in the absence of airflow in the sewer network are given. The period of the maximum values for hydrogen sulfide in the gas phase of sewer networks is determined.
