The article deals with the issue of low insolation of yards with bad lighting. A method of indoor lighting has been developed for buildings forming well-courtyards. Daylighting is provided there by means of using of a mirrored surfaces system. The system consists of two types of mirrors: convex mirrors and flat mirrors. They work jointly on the basis of the laws of optics. The construction features of the yard cause certain geometrical parameters of mirrors. The system of mirror panels is supported by a bracket. An actuator and a tracker are used as sun tracking devices working throughout the day. Approximate estimated material cost is calculated to assess the rationality of using the described method.
