Elements of the digital economy in the housing and communal service sphere

Annotation: 

The article postulates that the successful development of the digital economy is positively reflected in many spheres of public life of the state, households, organizations, economic activities, etc. It is further stated that digital infrastructure can be regarded as the main means of the key processes of the new economy. The elements of digital infrastructure, such as Internet of things, machine learning, big data, cloud computing and their application in the housing and communal services sphere are scrutinized. The concept of “smart city” is considered and an interpretation of this concept is offered. The problems of introducing the digital technologies in the sphere of housing and communal services are outlined.
