In this article, the problem of quantitative estimation of hydrogen sulfide emitting during transportation in energy dissipation chambers is considered. In order to develop a mathematical apparatus to perform this estimation, it is necessary to identify the scaling criterion of hydrogen sulfide mass transfer, which was the purpose of this work. In the study, the effect of changing the geometric, hydrodynamic characteristics of the system and the qualitative characteristics of the flow on the mass transfer process was investigated using finite element analysis. As a result of the study, there were revealed regularities of changes in the intensity of mass transfer, as well as a large-scale criterion for mass transfer of hydrogen sulfide.
