Review article

The article is devoted to the problem of forming architectural and planning solutions for the energy efficient architecture of public buildings in Iraq taking into account the existing cultural trends. Basing on the criteria for evaluating architectural and spatial schemes, the author has worked out a methodology for determining the optimal variant of using the energy efficient public spaces. The volume-spatial structures of buildings have been systematized and recommendations on project modeling of perspective models of energy saving of architectural and planning structures are given.
