Review article

The article deals with various aspects of the development of the stylistic trend known as «Expressionism» in the up-to-date architecture. The author singles out characteristic features of this phenomenon at the town planning, planning, and morphology level. The specificity of the materials and constructions, personification and imagery, that are typical for this phenomenon, are pointed out.
