The paper considers the development of a new composite material for wall structures, namely, foam glass concrete with modified gypsum binder. This material combines the advantages of cellular glass and concrete, such as low specific weight, high strength, resistance to weathering and environmental friendliness. To improve the durability and thermal conductivity of the material, it is proposed to replace cement with a modified gypsum binder. The optimal method of mixture preparation and hardening of the material is also determined. it is shown that foam glass concrete with modified gypsum binder has a high softening coefficient and is not subject to alkali-silica corrosion.
