A high competition in the market of educational services, as well as the growing prestige of professions related to construction industry are the factors, which increase a demand for highly qualified personnel. A set of career guidance measures developed at the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering is aimed at informing young people about the educational programs offered at the university and in this way getting them interested in the prospects of their study. The use of the process approach and the feedback mechanisms for systematizing the methods of professional orientation, is intended to improve the work`s efficiency and optimize the allocation of resources.
