Annotation:
Research results on the design of the composition of pavement concrete on gravel aggregate are presented. The main factors affecting the strength and durability of pavement concrete are considered, and measures have been developed to increase the adhesion strength of the cement matrix to the gravel aggregate. The use of a new complex additive with a modifier based on carbon fulleroid nanoparticles and adhesive component has made it possible to increase the compressive and bending strength of concrete, to ensure the desired frost resistance and water resistance. The authors show the possibility of using gravel as a local raw material in concrete for various purposes, including road construction.
