The article presents materials on identifying the quality of system processes` management in the field of road safety in the regions of the North-Western Federal District (NWFD) of Russia. The main goal of the study was to consider fundamental approaches to optimizing the selection of management impacts based on the assessment of the specifics of the regional road safety systems` (RSS) organization.
