Organization of monitoring of socio-economic development of regions in the management of municipal utilities in small towns

Annotation: 

The article considers the relevance and need forscientific research aimed at developing a comprehensive indicator for assessing the effectiveness of public utilities management, which would make it possible to combinedisparate indicators from various departmental and statistical reports and monitoring, to provide a basis for recommendations on adjusting management decisions. There has been carried out an analysis of department alorders, static reporting forms, results of scientific research on monitoring the state of public utilities. A comprehensive indicator for assessing the effectiveness of public utilities management has been formed, aggregating disparate indicators from various reports and based on four parameters characterizing technical, social, digital and economic aspects. The practical significance of the developed indicator lies in the possibility of its useby the authorities for objective diagnostics of the state of public utilities, including in small towns, as well as the identification of problem areas and the development of targeted management decisions.
