The paper considers the issues of work efficiency on repair of dilapidated steel pressure pipelines by alternative trenchless technologies in order to determine the most effective option providing minimum energy costs during water transportation. The authors analyze four methods of pipeline rehabilitation: pulling a polymer pipe into the pipeline, using a flexible polymer sleeve, using SubcoteFLP and Scotchkote 169HB sprayed coatings. The results of calculation and analytical studies on the assessment of energy savings during water transportation when operating the pipeline after its reconstruction by the specified methods are presented as well as the results of exploratory studies on the possibility of energy saving in conditions of changing the temperature of the transported water using automated complexes.
