The article presents an overview of the building structures’ defects, widespread at the sites of the researched region construction, as well as the methods that allow preventing such defects` emergence. One of these methods is usage of self-compacting concretes reinforced with fiber. The research results of self-compacting concrete (SCC) mix and concrete researches, polymeric fiber impact on SCC mixes and final product properties are submitted. Laboratory tests were carried out, which permitted coming to conclusions on optimal fiber content in SCC mixes. The results of compressive strength tests and bending tensile tests, as well as the impact of fiber proportions on shrinking deformation are described.
