Review article

Innovation activities are currently considered as the foundation of progress in developed countries in various fields. The experience of foreign countries has shown that in order to ensure competitiveness in the world market, it is necessary to introduce innovations into the processes of development of countries and regions. Today, the economy of the Russian Federation depends on scientific achievements and technological breakthroughs. The paper proposes a method of indirect regulation of innovation activities developed on the basis of foreign experience. Application of this method will have a positive effect on increasing innovation activities in the Russian Federation.
