Annotation:
The article offers an option of improving the assessment technique of the vehicle braking distance in conditions of dry asphalt concrete surface, based on the coefficient of the vehicle tire protector grip of asphalt concrete, which is regarded as dynamic characteristic with a direct dependence on the vehicle speed and protector pattern. A mathematical model is presented, and results of calculation are given.
