Review article

On the basis of the carried out research, there have been determined the fundamentals of methodological basis and improvement of telecommunication system control operation of different levels. The authors consider the problem of constructing a system for evaluating the effectiveness of automatic information and telecommunication systems control of the traffic, which allows quantifying the effectiveness of applying these vehicles. Perspective directions of forming the control functions at movement of vehicles on the basis of using automatic control systems are substantiated. There has been developed a technique for the optimal use of technical means of control in the field of monitoring the operation of land vehicles. There have been determined the criteria of the operating efficiency of the automatic information and telecommunication systems of control of vehicle traffic taking into account the probabilistic nature of system-forming factors used for constructing them.
