Review article

The article considers the possibility of using the response spectrum method taking into account the influence of damping on the oscillation shape modes and their correlation for calculation of systems with mass damper (MD). The research demonstrates that this method allows to take into account the behavior of MD for strongly damped systems and to evaluate its effectiveness. This technique allows selecting the optimum value of MD parameters.
