Comparative assessment of materials for the manufacture of decorative elements for cladding facades of residential buildings

Annotation: 

The article presents the results of practical work on the production of decorative elements for the facade cladding of a residential building, intended for installation in a suspended facade ventilated system. There has been carried out a comparative assessment of the physical and mechanical characteristics of glass fiber reinforced concrete, polymer concrete, and fiberglass. The features of production and manufacturing technology of cladding elements, their installation, operational and decorative characteristics have been studied, and financial and economic indicators have been analyzed. A conclusion is drawn about the advantages and disadvantages of the materials studied and the prospects for their use in civil engineering.
