Annotation:

The article considers one of the style directions of suburban architecture of St. Petersburg of the XIX - early XX centuries. It is represented by a group of objects, in the appearance of which special attention is paid to the aesthetics of the frame construction. Cross braces, decorative gable trusses, posts, belts and struts in fences and brackets are the most accentuated details of the facade, they create its image. Little-known historical name that unites these objects is constructive German style, and the prototype is the traditional frame architecture of Western Europe. A striking example of the style is Heinrich Müser's dacha in Zelenogorsk. The decorative details of its facades have a pronounced similarity with examples from books by German-speaking authors of that period.
