Improving the calculation of the road-train steady deceleration by the length of the braking path

Annotation: 

The paper presents the updated values of the steady deceleration at determining the road-train speed by the length of the braking path. The study uses the results of evaluation of the technical condition of the vehicle braking system of the R 114 LA 4×2 LA 340 SLA VIN no. 9BSR4X20003592673 Scania tractor unit and the Schmitz Cargobull SPR 24 VIN no. WSM00000003146303 semi-trailer. The operation of the brake system is assessed by results of the research conducted at the new IW 7 Eurosystem brake roller tester.
