There is proposed a methodology for analyzing design solutions of office buildings with modular facades which allows assessing the impact of specific ventilation characteristics on energy consumption. An analysis of the currently valid regulatory document which is used to develop an energy passport has been carried out. The influence of air infiltration on the energy performance of the building has been revealed. It is shown that for buildings of the type under consideration, infiltration should be determined basing on the results of tests of facade fragments for air permeability and wind load. The authors propose a calculation algorithm for implementing the developed methodology for the energy consumption of buildings at the design stage.
