Review article

The article describes the approaches to assessing the quality of the road network functioning based on the travel time index. The results of the experiment on the effect of the route length on the values of the travel time index are given. There are proposed approaches to the construction of rating scales for assessing the level of service of the existing street-road networks based on the travel time index.
