A road network should be provided with the objects of road service (ORS). ORS and the road exits leading to them should first of all meet the regulatory requirements, fit in with the geometric parameters and the technical characteristics of the highway, as well as meet the needs of road users. The article discusses the factors affecting the placement of the ORS, defines the Esri ArcGIS tools making it possible to produce a spatial analysis. On the example of the «A-180 «Narva» road - access to the Ust-Luga», a technique for determining the optimal location of service objects using the ArcGIS environment has been perfected.
