The main direction of the structural evolution of the mixing equipment is focused on increasing the intensity and effectiveness of mixing processes. One of the ways of implementing the above-mentioned is the use of vibration. The article presents the description of the vibro-auger mixer construction and features of its design. The main problem in the design of vibrating mixers involves the calculation of inertial loads determined by the oscillating masses of the auger. The authors suggest using the technique of inertial loads calculation with due account for the use of counterweights reducing the load of the mixer construction.
