Annotation: 

The article submits a proposal for improving the method for estimating the stopping distance of a vehicle driving on a dry asphalt concrete surface, taking into consideration different coefficients of adhesion of the tire tread of the spike tire from the non-studded tire of the vehicle. A mathematical model is presented and calculation results are shown.
